It's been a long long time since the last time i blogged here. Though it's been a very difficult period of my life, I believe sharing is not only about the ups of my life, but also the downs of my life.

The past few weeks is just like a trip in the rocky mountain - ups and downs like our dear KLSE index. Several mistakes I committed which me myself has yet the courage to face and deal it. The fact of life and the reality of people has gave me a good lesson for me to reflect my position in my family, friends, church and workplace. People's expectation upon me, and my expectation upon people have taught me many lessons.

It is Christmas, and it is never a time for me to be discouraged of the many events that occurred in the past few weeks. As dated today, there's still many things I need to learn to be humble, forgive, and move on. This Christmas, just like the past Christmas, it is an unforgettable Christmas.

My Christmas gift to myself, is a Chinese bible which I have long wanted, but was scared away because of it's price. I thank God for the courage to buy it, and I believe I will truly treasure it and read it always.

You can help me, by praying for me, and accompany me in my process of recovery. I'm sure everyone of us has a time where we find it difficult to move on, but yet, one day we got to do it, no matter we want or not. For now, I will work on it :)

I know busy is a word which I often used for my week summary, but yet this week is truly busy till the max. There's only few reasons for my description, I've not properly settled down eversince back from Pangkor, and I've been working much on my last part of my thesis, and also rather busy with my schedule in UTAR, and several things need to be done in church.

It's out of the blue that I visited Marco's on a beautiful afternoon. Marco's is an italian restaurant which is very noticible from the LDP just right opposite the Kelana Jaya LRT station, S25. From google I see some positive review from NST Good Bites :)

Everything starts with a nice rosemary chicken salad, which start up our engine (stomach) before moving onwards to another course....




Funnily, instead of the spaghetti which I ordered earlier on, I was served with macaroni, ala Penne Royale.




Lastly, a nice Macro's pizza that is stuff with turky ham, plum tomato sauce and plentiful of mozarella (cheese).




Indeed, this trip makes me fatter, larger :P


Note:
1. My colleague told me that macaroni and penne are two different creature.... which i agree right after a google away ;)
2. People was asking, whether it is worth the trip to dine in this place... My recommendation is... once a 3-6 months is ok, but not more unless you have a deep pocket ;)
3. I was informed that Italianese is having a eat-all-you-can pasta each Wednesday for RM19.90++, a wide selection of topping and pasta. Rather interesting, if you craze over pasta :) slurp~

It's been a busy week, till i totally forgotten to blog about it ;)

Instead of jumping straight to week 3, I wish to jot down several things so that as I read back, I will see how God has been leading over this week.

I was very worried and disturbed by the fact that I need to find a colleague to replace my classes on 23rd (October, Monday) as I need to take leave to go for my church's family camp. My very first worry is not to pressure any of my colleague to replace my classes, as many of them plan to go back their hometown, as they have no classes on monday. At the same time, while looking for potential colleague to help me replace my classes, I need to be very wise in my speech as I don't want them to feel that I'm pressurizing them. Partially it is owing to my position as an unit leader, no particular authority over them, but yet it could be a threatening situation if I mistakenly brought out the wrong message to them. Another part was because I've a lot of new colleagues working in the same unit, and I need to be very careful in bringing myself out without giving them a bad impression of using any force to make them replace my classes.

There's another available option for me, where I can choose to go only on the second day of the camp (24th Oct). But I hesistated as I'm the person in charged for all the miscellaneous throughout the whole event, and I can't just leave my responsibility behind unattended, and yet I can't ignore my responsibility here in my workplace. It was a very difficult decision I've to make.

There's no news from the HR department over the past two weeks, as they have announced twice (unofficially) that no holiday on monday, and our HOD has asked us not to apply for leave if we have classes on that day. It is a pressurizing moment then. I was brain-stucked, and my only hope is to wait for God to intervene such situation and show me the best way to resolve such incident. I chose not to tell anyone about my possible absent from duty as there's no way should I create a commotion among them (only a few knows about this). I chose to stay low in asking my colleagues to replace my classes in a very polite manner, which returns no result. The only decision and action taken is to pray about it...

It is until Thursday that I was informed all classes on Monday will be postponed, and I practically jumped and thank God, and despite of all things that held me back, I thank God He has been a very gracious and merciful God who resolves this issue for me.

Thursday is a day whereby I got to start work on the name tags for the camp. And unexpectedly it took me 5 hours merely just to type (cut and paste actually) and print out the names for all the attendee. Amazingly, there's 311 of them. The reason behind such lag is because of the character conversion issue from BIG5 to GB, which I have to retype names, or search it from the dictionary if I don't know its han yu pin yin. I thank God that the latter part of the task was easy, as Mei Fang and Shi Yun helped me to laminate all these cards take took just merely an hour and a half, and I can return home to have my only meal on that day.

Friday, I had the help from many youth to assist me in attaching up the tiny ropes onto the name tags, and I believe without their assistance, I would be practically crying at home working on it for endless hours. Haha...

The last saga is on sunday nite, whereby a car load of friends came over to help me sort out all name tags according to their room and put it in labelled envelopes.

Endless thanks to God and all brothers and sisters in Christ who helped along the way.

It's holiday (for the students), and for lecturers, we do our admin work.

Undeniably, I still 've to sign in daily, and need to organize my unit file for the subjects under me. I taught 2 subjects this semester - lectured Computer Studies, and led practical for Problem Solving and Programming. I've enjoyed both subjects throughout the entire 14 weeks, though it takes much effort and much thinking in sending effective message to students. The fruit of these 14 weeks are two "Thank You" cards, and quite an satisfying course survey from students.

For the next semester, I'm assigned to be the unit leader for Problem Solving and Programming, and again, running between two blocks - PA and PD. For those who's unsure of what is unit leader, let me explain briefly. Unit leader is the one who in charge of that subject for the entire semester, assisting lecturers who's under the same subject and basically take charge of all admin work that supposed to be included in the unit file. I believe this will be a challenging task for me, as I really need to be organized and be clear of what I need to do, no more lengang-lengang ;) I believe I will be given a mix of lectures and practicals to lead, and hopefully I will have the wisdom from God to lead such a big group of students.

Agape Youth Fellowship is what I'm looking forward to take care and witness God's faithfulness in this group of amazing secondary teenagers. I've been given the task to help out in the youth along with another 4 teachers (yup, four) - Yun Rong, Joyceline, Ivan, and Hui Yin. The overview of me and my fellow friends who's serving in this fellowship is to ensure the smooth flow of restructuring of the fellowship and youth sunday school, something which excites me very much. Though with some glitches here and there, I thank God that He has enables us to participate in such challenging task in being part of the process of shaping our church youth for the glory of the Lord :) For the details, maybe I share with you next time.

There's several things that is on my checklist, which is yet accomplished. First I will take these two weeks in touching up and settle once and for all my thesis, by God's grace. Yes, it takes not only time and effort but also the wisdom from above to finish it. Second of all, cleaning process is ongoing not only with my bedroom, but also my "server" room (wahahaha... installing ubuntu ). It's time to clean it. Thirdly, I want to read some books, which I didn't have a chance to do so for sometime already. Fourthly, relax and enjoy before next semester starts ;)

I will update this entry when I recall more.

For two consecutive days i received phishing email posing as legitimate online banking requesting its customer to reactivate their e-banking account.

Beware!

There's no such thing as re-activation of your account, and the links provided (which you don't really notice) aren't the right links to the bank. It redirects you to a cloned site where it collects your username and password.

The two banks on the bull's eye are Public Bank and Maybank, however I believe more will come in the coming days.

It's been a while I wanted to write something here, and yet nothing was written.

Nevertheless, after a series of events for these two weeks, I finally come into a conclusion.

I want to thank God for all things He has given unto me, and for all things He have led me through.

Shi Yong's song presentation in choir yesterday reminded me of the song, which was chosen to be the background music of IK Christmas Nite 2003 (yes, amazingly, it was three years back), whereby it was used to portray how Christ sacrifice himself for the sake of all mankind.

Exam week now, and another week to go. Hopefully everything will go well this week ;)

Had a wonderful birthday celebration, and got a real interesting album... though it's planet shakers... wahahahaha....

Agape youth had a chance to watch Joyoux Noel, I find it very meaningful.

Things I ponder 'bout life,
Time always ticks, life shall move on no matter you like it or not.
Why an answer is needed at such time? Maybe, it is time? I'm unsure too.

Joanne visited Klang, brought her to a disappointing bahkuteh lunch, and watched a super lame movie call DOA: Dead or Alive. Watch only if you're interested with 5 superlicious babes showing off their flesh (or... body, bikinis etc.) instead of the storyline of the movie. I salute the malaysian film board as unbelievably they rate this movie as U. I'm sure certain kids will be thankful to them ;)
