关启文在“后现代拜物教”里的序文写了这么一段的话

虽然Bruce和Peter比我年青一大载，但他们寻求真理的热诚，对神学/哲学/文化的兴趣，对买书的“狂热”，也对我有很大的鼓励，因为这些行径在世俗社会往往被视为“疯狂”的病症，但他们的出现，至少让我知道疯的不只是我一个，也不只是我那一代!

我压迫已久的心情就正如关老师所说的 - 一个“疯狂”的孤独旅居者的感受并非容易一人面对。

感谢神今天让我遇上了三位轻微，中等以及高级“疯狂”者，再次提醒我这是一条不孤单的路。

这就是神给我的幽默答案。

Kedai Kopi Khoong, not Kong ;)

We decided to take a quick breakfast before our meeting in workplace. J and E (recommended by L) told us there's a famous elderly uncle that sells "ji cheong fun" (pig intestine noodles).

Normally "ji cheong fun" can be ordered by stating how many "fun" that we want, and some stalls even offer side dishes to compliment the "fun". The interesting part about this elderly uncle's "fun" is no side dish, and there's only two options to choose - regular or large.

Not sure any of you face this issue or not, but after I created a new template/design for my blog. I wish to set my nuffnang ads' alignment to left instead of being centered by default.

The best way of course is to use CSS text-align, but can't do it as there's no place for us to place the CSS style coding. I also recall someone did posted some CSS hack for Advertlets quite sometime back, but to my amaze google didn't return anything useful on Nuffnang CSS Hack.

Turn to second resort, I asked nuffnang about it, and this is their reply.

Hi Sian Lerk,

We're very sorry to inform you that our ads are to be placed at the center as it is intended to be at that position to garner the right attention from visitors in order for advertisers to favor the ad space and buy it.

Case close. There's no way I can set the text-align to left then.


Until today, creative light bulb shed some fresh new idea to resolve this issue. It's as simple as wrapping a div tag around the nuffnang ads. Something like this,

The term "Lawatan Sambil Belajar" is commonly used during my secondary school days, shamefully speaking, I managed to get through the school authority to approve Computer Society in organizing a trip to Genting in the name of "Lawatan Sambil Belajar". For sure, we learn nothing else than it is possible to have a 3D2N trip to Genting by just paying RM60 per pax :)

The reason hu-ha in Malaysia seems to reflect this scenario, whereby a "generous" MP decided to sponsor all BN backbenchers to an oversea study trip on agriculture. Interesting it seems, doesn't it ;)

A few shorts for today...

Short One:
This year is ending soon, time to consider getting an automatic transmission car. At this moment, for hot hatchback... there are three options,

1. Naza 206 - RM68,000 (RM4,000 discount, maybe more for year-end?)
2. Suzuki Swift - RM72,000 (RM1,000 discount. Heard can't give more discount)
3. Em... Proton Savvy - RM4,4000 (RM4,000 discount?)

Just got it from NTV7 news, the so-called Datuk Ahmad Ismail said there's no need to apologize as he said nothing wrong.

Speculation again on TV saying maybe another RM0.15/litre price drop for petrol. Quite sick of this out-of-sudden price adjustment. Can't the government do a proper price floating mechanism?

Note: This is a backdated post on my JJCM trip on June 18, 2008.

After picking up CY from her meeting with clients in Taman Wangsa Permai, we decided to go for supper. As we didn't know much about this area, I called up A the local food craze for some advice. A at first recommended steamboat, but I guess it's just something tooo much for a supper, and decided to try out this famous crab restaurant in Bandar Sri Menjalara. With the help of direction from A and also my GPS on my I780, we found this restaurant - De Foodland Seafood Restaurant.

This restaurant offers big-size crab and we decided to order two crabs in two different flavors. Unfortunately, the waiter insisted that the minimum order for each flavor is minimum of two crabs. So we decided to order the two crabs with sweet-and-sour sauce.

The crabs are really out of our expectation as we didn't expect their crab size is the same if not larger than those we usually eat in Telok Gong. Thumbs up as the crabs are real fresh, just like what we can get from Klang.

The complimentary bread (note: complementary not in the sense of ringgit) which is eaten by dipping the sweet-and-sour sauce. Taste really well :)

Should I go again? Unfortunately, I think for Klang people my answer is no. The price is reasonable, though not as cheap as Klang - but understandable. The two crabs we ordered cost about RM75, if my memory didn't fail me.

Don't get me wrong, if you're deprieved for crab, and far away from Klang... this is a recommended place for you to eat. Good for tastebud :)
